I was on the ground in my mother’s arms as she was kissing me and hugging me. I turned around to see what was going on and to my surprise I saw the biggest unicorn it the world. Well, at that time I was really small and every thing was big. The unicorn said, not to worry and I was safe. And he said, he’ll always be there when I need him.
I never saw him again after that. I guess, I never needed him.

Well you need him now, said Suike. Do you know where he lives? Can we go visit him? Please we just have to help Pearson.

Benjamin sat on his rock for a long while thinking of how he could help his little friends. He knew that Pearson was a good and honest friend and that he did deserve to achieve his dreams. Benjamin said, I do know how to find the unicorns. I might have an answer yes indeed. I just might. Roxi and Suike you have to go. I cannot let any one else go with me. I need to go to keep an eye on Pearson. You must not tell any one of the things I have told you. I trust you in your confidence. I do have it don’t I?

Yes said Roxi and Suike. We will do what ever it takes to help Pearson. So, off they went to find Pearson. He was still watching over the baby rabbits. Their mother has not returned yet. Pearson is getting worried. Roxi and Suike said they would go look for the baby rabbit’s mother while he kept a watch. They can climb trees and hills much easier than Pearson. Only if I had wings said, Pearson. Then I could fly through the sky to look for her.

Don’t you worry we’ll find her, said Suike you just sit tight. The baby’s were getting upset because their mommy wasn’t home yet and they were hungry. Pearson shared his lunch with them but that was not enough for 10 little bunnies.

Meanwhile, Benjamin was putting together a travel bag. He was going to see his old friend Lundy the Unicorn. The short journey was going to take him a day to travel.

Along the way Benjamin pondered on the conversation he was going to have with Lundy. As the butterflies surround Lundy and the birds sing. The flowers are in full bloom and smell of fresh springtime. Benjamin loves the spring and summer time. Dancing with the butterflies and bumblebees.

Benjamin arrives at Lundy’s home. He walks up to the entrance of the cave. Hello! Says Benjamin is there any one home. I am looking for Lundy. Can any one help me? Suddenly out pops this little unicorn. Shhhh!!! Says the little one. My daddy is sleeping and you’ll wake him up. He will be very cranky if you wake him up.

Well, I will be more quite say’s Benjamin. And what is your name little one. My name is Tracier. I am the youngest of the fleet! At least that is what my daddy tells me. Ahh! I see. Well, Tracie do you think I could see your daddy for just a few minutes. I have something very important to talk to him about. With a concerned look on his face. Tracier said, I would have to go ask my mommy. I will be right back.

While Benjamin is waiting at the cave entrance, Tracier finds his mommy and tells her that Benjamin is here. Tracier and his mommy return to the entrance, and Benjamin greets them with a warm friendly smile. Hello, I am here to see Lundy. We need his help down in the valley. He is the only one I know that can help us. Well,
I see if he will come to see you.

This sounds very important. Have we met before? You seem so. I think we met a long time ago. It was when there were hunters in the valley. When I was a young cub. Oh yes, I remember now. I am Bell, Lundy’s wife. I was watching Lundy when he helped you on that day long ago. I was a young girl then. Benjamin and Bell both start laughing and Tracier had this strange look on his face. He didn’t understand but started laughing along with them.

Upon entering where Lundy was the echo of laughter could be heard thru out the cave. Lundy came walking up to Benjamin with a friendly smile; he asked what brings you to this side of the woods. Benjamin replied, I have a friend he is a white pony. His name is Pearson. He has a heart pure as the driven snow and his passion for the little creatures of the forest runs deep. He tries to keep the forest safe from harm but he feels he could do more if he could fly like the Unicorns. So, I was sent here by the creatures of the forest to see if there is something you could do to help Pearson become a unicorn.

Lundy paused for a moment and said, I have an idea! Take me to Pearson, we must hurry. The longer we wait the harder it will be on Pearson. Lundy packed up some nuts and fruit for the trip. Along the way, Lundy was very quite. Benjamin couldn’t understand what was going on. However, there was a silence that was not to be broken as so to Lundy could put his idea to work.

After reaching the field, Pearson came up to Lundy, in amazement. What do I owe this great pleasure to have you in my field? Pearson asked. I have come to help you, Lundy replies. Help you to understand the way of the Unicorns. It is said, that in order to become a great Unicorn you have to fulfill one task. Lundy requested that all the other animals in the forest leave them in a few moments of silence. I will call everyone when we are through talking.

All the animals leave the two together. Impatiently, they all gather by the big oak tree in the middle of the field.

Eagerly, Pearson said, yes I will do what ever it takes just tell me! With fright in his eyes Pearson listens as Lundy speaks the legend of becoming a great Unicorn.

Lundy begins to explain the process of becoming a great Unicorn as Pearson eagerly listens.

Now, Pearson you have to have a heart as pure as the white fallen snow and the courage as the raging rivers. The compassion as a mother with her newborn baby, and the pride of the great Lion King.

I have all those inside my heart I really do, expressed Pearson. My heart is pure and my courage is strong as the rivers and my compassion is honest.

I want you to close your eyes, said Lundy and think of a place on this that matters to you the most. In true to your heart once you think of that place then all your answers and wishes will come true. But before you do this you have to promise that you will never tell anyone what happened today. If you break this promise you will lose everything you have ever worked for.

As Pearson closes his eyes he is taken to the place in his heart that is most special to him. The place he is taken to he never left. The place is the field, his field of dreams. The place where he knows he can feel safe and free and a place where he can be anything he wants to be. As his mind floats through the trees of the filed that he has called home for as long as he can remember. A transformation starts to happen. Wings start to sprout and he begins to rise above the land. With his pureness, courage, and compassion, Pearson has become The Unicorn, the Unicorn of the field of his home.

With this in mind, you can become anything you want to out of life all you have to do is have what Pearson had. And you have inside you, no matter what anyone else tells you. You have to believe in your self.
